When life feels too much
Sometimes we reach a point where coping no longer feels enough.
You may feel anxious, stuck, overwhelmed or uncertain of who you are becoming.
Counselling offers a compassionate, grounded space to explore what is happening and to begin to reconnect - with yourself, your relationships and your sense of meaning.
This is not about fixing you - it is about coming home to yourself - gently, creatively and at your own pace.
You may be navigating:
Anxiety, low mood or emotional overwhelm
Trauma, abuse or family conflict
Loss, grief, or life transitions
Burnout and self-criticism
Relationship difficulties
Identity, purpose, or belonging
Neurodiversity - social isolation, communication or emotional regulation, sensory overload, challenges in academic, professional, home environments
Our work can help you to:
Develop self-compassion, emotional balance and regulation
Heal from past experiences at your own pace
Strengthen your voice and boundaries
Reconnect with creativity, confidence and calm
Find clarity and meaning for the next chapter of your life

I work from a Humanistic and Person-Centred foundation - which means I believe that healing comes through relationship, presence and empathy.
You are the expert on your life - my role is to walk alongside you as we make sense of your experience, together, collaborating to address your needs with a variety of integrative approaches.
My work is trauma-informed, creative and grounded in effective models, drawing on:
using art, images, symbols, story, metaphor, music to express what words can't yet reach
a symbolic way to explore and transform inner stories through image and form
Bringing the body's wisdom into the process for regulation and integration, to give you practical tools for self and co-regulation
reconnecting with the wider web of life and your inner landscape of meaning, or to address something that may feel like an existential issue or crisis
A short term solution focused approach, in collaboration with you, to address your specific needs and work to resolve a situation or bring new understanding to your experience
Your individual needs and experiences are taken into account during the therapy sessions. At times, some psychological models and perspectives can be helpful information to make sense of your experiences.
Together, these models create a holistic, embodied pathway for insight and change -
one that honours mind, body and spirit
Sessions are led by your needs, not by a formula.
We move at your pace, guided by trust, curiosity and presence.
Sometimes, that means talking, sometimes it means painting, using natural objects, or sand tray objects, image cards.
Whatever arises, we follow what feels most alive and real for you in the moment. If that also means you are seeking psychoeducational information and a solution-focused approach, we can integrate this model.
Sessions are available online (UK-wide) or in-person near Chichester, West Sussex, UK.

As Carl Jung wrote:
"Only the wounded physician heals"
My work is rooted in lived experience as well as professional training - in the belief that even in our deepest struggles, something whole and wise remains within us.
Counselling helps us listen for that voice and begin again - with gentleness, honesty and hope.
