There comes a point when simply coping is no longer enough.
You may feel emotionally exhausted, anxious or burnt out.
Perhaps you've lost confidence in yourself after difficult relationships, years of putting others first, or constantly questioning your own thoughts and feelings.
You might not know exactly what you need.
You simply know that something has to change.
Counselling offers a safe, confidential space to pause, make sense of what you're experiencing and begin rebuilding trust in yourself.
You don't have to know the whole journey before you take the first step.
You just need somewhere safe enough to begin.
I support adults and young people experiencing:
• Anxiety and overwhelm
• Burnout and emotional exhaustion
• Difficult relationships and recovery from emotional abuse
• Loss, grief and life transitions
• Self-doubt and low confidence
• Neurodivergent experiences including ADHD and autism
• Identity, meaning and personal growth
Many of the people I work with arrive feeling disconnected from themselves and wanting to regain a sense of clarity, confidence and direction.
Our work begins with talking therapy.
Conversation creates the foundation of everything we do together, helping you explore your experiences, understand patterns and reconnect with your own thoughts, feelings and needs.
As trust develops, we may gently integrate Person-Centred Expressive Arts Therapy, sand tray, guided meditation or reflective creative approaches where they feel supportive to your process.
These approaches aren't about being artistic or learning techniques.
They offer another way of exploring experiences that sometimes feel difficult to express through words alone.
Everything we use is collaborative, trauma-informed and tailored to you.
There is no pressure to work creatively.
The therapy always begins with you.

Some experiences are difficult to explain.
You may know something doesn't feel right, yet struggle to find words for it.
Creative approaches offer another way of listening to yourself.
Using simple materials, imagery, journalling, symbolic exploration, sand tray or guided meditation, we create space for thoughts, feelings and memories to emerge naturally.
Many clients are surprised by how much clarity they gain when they stop trying to explain everything and begin noticing what naturally wants to be expressed.
You don't need any artistic experience.
This isn't about making art.
It's about making meaning.
Many people come to therapy believing they need someone to tell them what to do.
My role isn't to give you all the answers.
It's to help you reconnect with your own.
Person-Centred counselling is one of the most established and well-supported approaches to psychotherapy. It is based on the understanding that, given the right therapeutic relationship, people naturally move towards greater self-understanding, resilience and psychological growth.
Rather than trying to fix you, we'll work together to understand what has happened to you, recognise your strengths and support lasting change that feels authentic to who you are.
• Greater confidence in their own judgement
• Less anxiety and overthinking
• Healthier boundaries
• A stronger sense of self
• More self-compassion
• Greater emotional resilience
• Feeling calmer, clearer and more connected to themselves
Many people want counselling but feel unsure about committing to open-ended therapy.
That's why I also offer the Rebuilding Self-Trust Journey
a focused ten week counselling experience.
Working consistently over ten weekly sessions allows us to build trust, understand patterns and create meaningful momentum together.
You don't need to commit to therapy forever.
You simply need somewhere safe enough to begin.
Most people begin with a 30-minute Consultation & Assessment Session.
This gives us dedicated time to explore what has brought you here, discuss your goals and decide together which way of working is most likely to support you.
You'll leave with greater clarity and a personalised recommendation, whether that's ongoing counselling, the Rebuilding Self-Trust Journey or another service that better meets your needs.
